  1. The people of Neshoba County are not likely to forget this tragic day. An F5 tornado ripped across the town of Philadelphia and out into the county destroying homes and business. Two deaths were reported in neighboring Kemper County.
Dorothy Taylor's family lost everything, yet due to the generous spirit of the community, she and her 7 children have a new home. Dorothy had studied in a Tide study circle. After her needs were met, she began to organize a family resource center and Henderson Ridge Baptist church in east Neshoba County. Dorothy and her church family want everyone to know if there is an emergency or family in need, they have food, clothing, furniture, baby items, and household goods ready.
